I love how stories on the internet seem to fabricate themselves, and then morph into something else, and then reinvent themselves yet again. Barn Finds have a way of inspiring imagination amongst us all. Who doesn’t love classic cars? Who wouldn’t aspire to stumbling into a treasure trove of low mileage, carefully stored vehicles that had been forgotten? How about hundreds of cars basically “found” for free? That is why this story, originally from around 2007, seems to be refreshed as new. Here is another feature from 2011. Since many of the dust covered vehicles might individually sell for enough to pay for the fabled Portuguese farmland they were supposedly purchased with, it fills in all the blanks of an urban legend. While we may all aspire to be the one who stumbles across the next one of a kind classic car stored by the nice old ladies grandson before he went off to Vietnam and never returned, for now it is still fun to dream through stories… like my recent blog post. Until then, just check out one of my favorite sites, Bringatrailer.com or check out Hagerty’s top finds article from January of this year… Have Fun!!
