Returns Insurance?
We would prefer that you never had to worry about returning an item back to Autopartstomorrow.com. We do recognize however that a very small percentage of orders need to be sent back. Whether it be for an inaccurate cataloging entry from the Epicor catalog data we share, or maybe a part that is damaged in some way, when the need arises we want to make things as simple as possible.
At the bottom of our home page is a link to Returns Policy which also contains instructions on how to process a Return Request. We MUST have this filled out and submitted so that we can send you a pre-paid return label. It also establishes an automatic link to your original transaction, which will speed the credit once it is reviewed by our returns team.
One thing that I would like to warn of that might cause some issues for us both. Be careful of the packaging when you return an item to us. Normally we send the parts out in a secured box with appropriate levels of packaging and padding materials. You may want to retain those for a short while, until your part is installed and proves to be in working order. We have examples where people did not, and sent the items back in plastic shipping bags. Since we are paying for the return freight, please make every effort to protect and secure the piece within a sturdy box (like the one we sent it in). Unfortunately, if it is not protected and something happens on the way back via UPS, we will be unable to cover the return. It happens very rarely, but please be aware. Check out the water pump (photo above) that was returned in a plastic bag. It never had a chance…
